Join Lehigh Valley Zoo on August 16 when they host their 7th annual Run Wild for Wildlife Conservation!

Why Run Wild?

2009 – African Penguin

2010 – Red Kangaroo

2011 – Mexican Gray Wolf

2012 – Canadian Lynx

2013 -- North American River Otter 

2014 -- Eastern Box Turtle

2015 -- Solomon Islands Prehensile-Tailed Skink

 

Each year, Lehigh Valley Zoo’s Run Wild for Wildlife Conservation highlights a different animal in AZA’s Species Survival Plan® Program. The Zoo is home to more than 300 animals representing 125 species, of which 23 species are classified as either endangered, threatened or species of concern.

 

Your active participation helps offset the annual cost of caring for the Zoo’s animals and supports our involvement and leadership role with wildlife conservation organizations worldwide.

Pre-Entry deadline must be postmarked by August 11, 2015.

 

10K & 5K Races - $30.00 per participant

1 Mile Family Fun Walk - $15.00 per participant

1 Mile Family Fun Walk - $30.00 per family (up to six people)

 

Race Packet Pickup: 12:00 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, August 15

Race Day Registration: 7:00 am to 7:45 am on Sunday, August 16

 

Overall and Masters Awards for Male and Female

Awards will be presented to the top three in the following age groups:
